Is Genital Warts Really Curable?

Anonymous
If yes, what's the best treatment that my uncle can used?

I've gathered this through my research claiming that they can cure genital warts..
Home remedies (Tea tree Oil, Cider Vinegar);
Tropical Products (Oxyfend, Wartscide, Wartrol);
Advance Medication (Cyrotherapy, Electrocautery and Laser Therapy)

If no, this just only mean that Genital Warts is FOREVER on him.. (hopefully not)

I will be back on Friday, for your reply.. Thanks in advance!

All warts are caused by a virus. Over 90% of the population has the HPV virus. Most people's immune systems keep the virus in check and there are no symptoms.

You cannot cure a virus. It's always there, but not always active.

PP is completely right. They are treatable, NOT curable, but the symptoms do tend to diminish over time as the immune system improves it's ability to fight the virus.

Genital warts are HPV, once it's in the system, it's in the system to stay. They can be lasered off by a physician. Do NOT have intercourse when someone has an outbreak as it HPV in women is much more serious than HPV in men. It can ultimately lead to cervical cancer if left untreated.
