I think it is the kind of thing that only a black leader can say, but it has to be said. Maybe it offends some blacks, but I think mostly because they don't like self-criticism aired in public. But that is true of pretty much every group in America.

I think that youth need more exposure to leaders in their communities. Role models are few and far between these days.
