Verbal Behavior Recommendations?

Anonymous
We are looking into starting a Verbal Behavior program for my son (4.5) with autism. We are having trouble finding a provider with availability. Does anyone have any recommendations? Is anyone getting any insurance reimbursement for VB?

Do you mean a consultant? For that, I HIGHLY recommend ICAN of Washington (Cynthia Onder and Morgan McCloskey). They are phenomenal. For instructors, you can find good ones through Craig's List or local college newspapers. Our insurance doesn't reimburse for any of it. Best of luck.

Since verbal bx is part of available, if MD/vs insurance bills have passed/for autism, then idk why they would refuse you......have ur provider bill/code it as available ( bc it is that), its not being dishonest at all. That may b easier.

We have federal employees health insurance - so far they are saying no coverage for ABA (and they are not covered by the state mandates).
