| Can the republican party PLEASE come up with a non-laughable candidate? Seriously, what is the problem? It's a simple concept, don't put up a 95 year old regardless of what they believe or intend to do and if putting up a candidate without pane foot in the grave can they at least pretend to be somewhat normal members of society? As a young, minority, conservative I'm floored by what our current options are, what a bunch of nuts. Ugh, perhaps I should become a libraterian. Oh and those tea party folks started off on the right foot but boy did they all go off the deep end. |

| Rick Perry might be non-crazy. Of course he has a massive budget problem that was an "oops" 2 weeks after the election. He thinks intelligent design is "valid scientific theory", he does not believe that climate change is caused by people, he seems to toy with the idea that Texas could secede. Wait, what was I trying to prove again? |

No. More and more creationists (and people from oil states) have a side hobby called climate change denial. They use the exact same logic, just with a different subject. |

Are you worried that the Rep will lose, or that you won't like the Rep? I think most outside observers put Obama's chances at about 50%, so there's no need to despair. If the problem is that you don't like any of the Reps, then maybe you should consider alternatives. Little known fact: in the U.S., you're allowed to vote for whomever you would like, even if that person does not have a major brand name! |

Love the logic fail from OP. "Climate denial: Sure, lots of evidence there! But ID? C'mon, that's just crazy!" Pseudo-scientific clap-trap is just that. You can pick and choose, but that doesn't make you rational. |
