We like it very much. It is a very diverse environment in terms of almost any demographic (race, socio-economic status, etc.). In our experience, teachers have really been able to focus on individual students and give them the specific type of attention and assistance they require. Its a great community with involved parents who are very enthusiastic.

The school uses Outward Bound's Expeditionary Learning approach and studies are focused on an annual expedition.

There is quite a long waiting list. Admission is via an annual lottery.

Thanks very much. I did hear that the waiting list is quite long. Was wondering if I should get in over a year in advance, or can you only apply the year you are eligible?

You can only enter the lottery for the year your child is eligible. I suggest trying for pre-K if that is your child's age, even if you prefer to stay at your current preschool, because you can defer.
