Because the racism goes both ways. Also, we're quick to shout racism when the victim is a diff race than the aggressor, even without the knowledge that race was a motivating factor.

Because you are making excuses for these kids (without the knowledge that race was a motivating factor). Did you watch the news clip? RACE was the only factor. They have witnesses to back up the claim of hate crime. Then to top it off, you come on here and play the it "goes both ways" card, implying that their actions are excusable because of something that happened on the otherside of the country.

NEITHER are acceptable, but I refuse to make excuses for any aggressor, let alone a MURDER.

I don't get the point of the original post here, other than to acknowledge the obvious - there are a lot of idiots on this planet. Is the OP saying that this is commonplace? or just pointing out a horrible disgusting act? but yeah, definitely disgusting and those responsible should be put away for life.

Actually, there were no excuses made in my post, nor any implied. Murders of all sorts happen by/to all types of people.
