Futsal is a strong and reliable metric for future reference. Essentially it’s an environment where players get exposed and your technical abilities are compared. From these scores it seems that VRSC is far from being considered a real and genuine soccer club.

I don’t know about other teams, but not a single player from VRSC’s first 2013 girls team played for VRSC’s futsal team.

Looks like VRSC’s GA teams had solid results today against Coppermine. Coppermine is no powerhouse, but their GA teams are a heck of a lot better than LS’s ECNL-R teams. Doing reasonably well against them would seem to cut against the haters’ narrative.

I’d say that, consistent with the fall season, they did well against an ok club in GA play, which perhaps is not what you’d expect based on the VRSC haters’ comments on this board.

If you’re an ECNL NL bench player who wants to see more of the field or a ECNL RL player who wants to play with and against better players, VRSC GA is an excellent choice. No, it’s not close to the NL teams at this point, but it’s also well ahead of RL teams. I bet there are some girls at LS who find themselves in that gap.

That is the one FCV team that stayed at TSJ, because most of them had already committed. Incidentally, 07 LS RL is somewhere around top 500 in the country. Even without pulling from FCV, VRSC’s 07 squad is meaningfully better than that. The delta is much larger for younger teams. Yes, LS has a track record with RL playing in college. CC has a track record of placing girls in college, but he needs to demonstrate that at VRSC.

There's so much wrong in this statement. More FCV 07s went to VRSC (5) than stayed at FCV (4) for this year. And CC wasn't involved in the recruiting process at FCV - it was BP.
