Choroid plexus tumor?

Found one of these in a 20 week ultrasound. Doctor said it is usually gone by the time we do a follow up u/s in about a month. Said if my trisomy and NT tests were "risky" then it could be a 'marker' for a problem, but since they were all good (esp at my age of 35, ouch) then they don't recommend an amnio. I wouldn't have an amnio anyway, figuring I don't want to know something unless the baby's life or my life is in danger..but I'm curious if others have had this? Trying to remain calm and was doing fine until darling husband brought it up again. Thoughts? Experience?

actually, should clarify, I don't think they said tumor- it was something less "threatening" sounding...but still a little stressed over it

The doctors found two in my baby's brain last week at my 20 week ultrasound. They said that they might be concerned had I not already had CVS that showed that there were no chromosomal issue. The doctors told me that these cysts show up in a small percentage of fetuses and are part of normal brain development. They said that the cysts usually disappear before the baby is born. The cysts also happen to be markers for trisomy but if your ultrasound did not show any of the other markers such as clenched fists, small head, etc., then you should not have any issues.

My daughter had one show up on our 20-week ultrasound, also, and it was gone by the next ultrasound at 26 or 28 weeks. It freaked us out at first, also, but she's 18 months old now and doing just fine!
