Preschool and Daycare Discussion
|
Can anyone recommend a day care in the Takoma Park or 16th St. Heights areas that will take my (almost) 2 year old for 3 or 4 mornings a week?
In addition to not being able to find day cares that only do part-time, she seems to be too young to join most of them as she will not be 2 until Sept. 18. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks! |
| What you're describing is a preschool, not a daycare. Most part time day cares I've investigated do full days 2 or 3 days a week. |

This is not a daycare but may be flexible enough to meet your needs.

JH Child Development Center is a home day care located just a few corners of the metro station on the Georgia Avenue (Green Line) station and Columbia Heights Metro Sation (Green Line and Yellow ). JH serves from 8 am-5: 00 pm. Children will be taught and instructed in English and Spanish, creating a bilingual environment where they can thrive, learn and have fun. Learning does not only take place at the gates to provide children with another dimension of the retention of learned skills.
