1st grade class supply list asks for a "soft sided school box" -- any idea what this is?

| My guess is that it's a soft-sided pencil case or box. Pencil cases/boxes are usually required. So if it's not on the list elsewhere, there's a good chance it's one in the same. But don't hesitate to call the school to find out for sure. |
