DC Public and Public Charter Schools
| It's officially August now. When are we going to get those school-by-school scores? |
|
One of the goals of all this testing is giving parents a chance to transfer out of a school that is failing to make AYP.
School is starting in 14 business days. Exactly how could parents navigate the process of transferring their child to a school that is making AYP in that time period? Oh wait, maybe because the schools making AYP are either jam packed or were cheating on the DC CAS? Does anyone remember how early they released the scores when the news was good? I think it was early July? Now we're nearly to the start of school and we still haven't seen individual school test scores. I'm having a hard time seeing how things are running better under the new "reforms." |
| They were supposed to be up by tonight, but when I called OSSE they said more likely tomorrow morning. |
Considering that scores were down a little or flat, there should be no change in AYP status from last year. |

| How do you have Janney's scores? The one's currently up on OSSE's website are from 2009/2010 school year. |
