Stacey Abrams for Governor of Georgia

Anonymous
I’m a Georgia Democrat and my prediction is that this gaffe has destroyed Abrams’ chances of winning. It doesn’t matter how many northeast liberals cheer at her indictment of Georgia. None of you get to vote here.

Abrams is going to lose by a much wider margin this time and she has no one to blame but herself and her northeast handlers.

The fact that she’s doubling down on these stupid comments instead of trying to walk them back and mend fences tells me she doesn’t understand Georgia and would make a poor governor. I’m over her.

So you are ok with the enslavement of women?

Oh, FFS. Women are not enslaved. This is not Afghanistan.
Stop with your hyperbole.

Don’t be so sure.

Wrong. Forced birth is an outrageous situation to tolerate whether it is here or in some other country. Fight back.

PS - Walker is giving a great speech right now. He's what Abrams should be.

I live in Georgia and think Walker, Abrams, and Greene are nuts.

So you’ll be voting for Warnock, Kemp and Flowers?

Because the alternative is better than a "gaffe"? GTFOH with that nonsense. YOu do what you want but you're an idiot.

I know some of you are upset others don't share your sacred views or belief that Abrams is special. But she's been trailing Kemp in the polls for a long time by about 5 points and barring some unforseen changes, she's not going to catch up in a majorly red tide year. It could still happen, but most likely not. The turnout for the R primaries versus D, especially compared to 2018 (a big Blue year) is something to look at carefully for how things are likely going to shape up in November.

There's still five plus months to go. So cheer up. Maybe things will magically change.

I mean, in actual fact, like half of my northeast liberal friends have moved to Atlanta over past few years for CoL. So yea, they are voting there now. That’s why the place is getting less backwater by the week.

The turnout in the primary is actually not at all telling for a lot of obvious reasons…your pointing to that tells me you dont understand how this works.

No.

Walker is a self described multi personality, snake oil selling domestic abuser suffering from CTE. He shouldn't be given a position of authority

Semi-serious question: If Walker gets elected, which Walker is it, given his multiple personalities? If Walker casts a vote from the Senate floor, which Walker is casting the vote? Was it actually the Hershel Walker that got elected? Is it actually legal for him to cast a vote from the Senate Floor without making sure that it's actually the same personality who ran and got elected to represent Georgia?

Turnout wasn’t super high in the primaries because Stacy Abrams was running largely unopposed….compared to the clusterf with Purdue and Kemp on the Republican side…

+1 fellow Georgian here, and I initially supported her
