The walking on the sloped ramp doesn't bother me as much as the drinking water. The water thing is flat out worriesome, if I were in his camp (I'm not).

The gingerly walking down the platform can be attributed to leather soled shoes that slip very easily on flat metallic surfaces (despite being dry). Obama had no issue b/c he usually wore rubber soles and thus had no issue gripping. Throwing it out there as devil's advocate.

He wasn't gingerly walking. He was taking toddler steps, instead of adult steps. One foot down, then another food to the same step.

My 65 year old husband takes steps the same way. It was his earliest sign of motor neuron disease.
