So your kid's aiming low. Good for you.

It's a college forum, not a KKKollege forum.

Which school did you go to?

Why is that relevant?

Good example of a school to avoid.

I went to MIT.

I am the PP you asked, and I did not attend MIT.

Can we please go back to the serious discussion.

This is a thread about college rankings. It is, by definition, not a serious discussion.

I also went to MIT. Or did I?

Depends.

Who are you?

Spartacus

You were homeschooled then.

Haha I set myself up for that one! Just checked USNR and it's in top 50. Conspicuous by omission. Can you figure out which one?

The Associated Press (very reputable) has the top 25 listed like this. Interesting, that no Ivy League school is on this list…….they must have some extremely stringent methodology or are a bunch of glue sniffers out for a buck feeding off of parent paranoia.

Would like to note though that for the DCU crowd this definitively shows Michigan above UVA but after that 2 OT squeaker to USMA I think it is questionable. UMCP ranked higher than UVA as well, damn, heads will explode!

Also notably absent are schools like Stanford, UCLA and Cal……..I mean UCF and Boise State ranked higher? Weird how they could fall that much this year, I think its elitist bias against those PAC 12 schools.

1 Clemson
2 Alabama
3 Georgia
4 LSU
5 Oklahoma
6 Ohio State
7 Notre Dame
8 Auburn
9 Florida
10 Michigan
11 Utah
12 Texas
13 Penn State
14 Wisconsin
15 Oregon
16 Texas A&M
17 UCF
18 Michigan State
19 Iowa
20 Washington State
21 Maryland
22 Boise State
23 Washington
24 Southern California
25 Virginia
