I actually think Danielle's wanting to work is refreshing. It's nice to see a show where people aren't all like "Oh, we are so blessed and happy. Look how blessed and happy we all are." Instead, she kind of says that she used to have an identity and a life outside the home and part of her wants it back. I think she's awesome -- because she's being so honest.

But I still marvel at how that Kate plus eight show seemed to show a family on the verge of breakdown because they were so stressed out and these people seem relatively mellow. Granted, they have significantly more family help -- but even so, Kate seemed so stressed over everything. I think it's probably because she was such a control freak.

Kate was/is wound way too tight.Some of the Gosselin kids seem to have her prickly sarcastic tendencies. I don't fault the Busbys for having a babysitter. Come on, this is the board who outsources cleaning their outside garbage cans!

I can't believe this show is so popular. I always have to mute the TV when the commercials for this show come on, because all the crying and whining is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

I had triplets and am laughing you think it would be easier to get back in shape because it's less time. Oh hell no! Either she has really great skin that bounced back or a tummy tuck.

I dont think she got a TT I just think she is young and very fit. As a twin mom that delivered at 33 weeks its was very similar to my singleton belly at 38 weeks so I get what pp was saying completely.

Big difference between 2 and 5 babies. I've been in higher order multiples group and I've seen the resulting stomachs. Not buying it.

I'm not buying it either. She had something done. I've heard that some surgeons will perform a tummy tuck at the same time they are doing the c-section. I'll bet that, or something like that, happened here, too. They probably don't call it a tummy tuck even though the results are the same.

I don't know if I've ever heard her deny that she hasn't had some form of tummy tuck, though. She is very fit but we all know that all the exercise in the world won't tighten up saggy skin.

Kate is a control freak and Captain of her own ship. She has a hard time handing things over to other people and when she does she micromanages the heck out of them "You gave the little kids BUBBLEGUM???" Haha. That was her true personality and I have an odd admiration for her.

The Busbys are both more laid back about things and I think that they are both more accepting of help...which is good because you NEED help in a situation like that but also less entertaining than Kate because it is pretty clear that they aren't exactly doing it all alone.

Mimi bugs the living crap out of me. I am close to her age and I find her to be a bit of a whiner. Those kids don't need that on top of everything else they've got going on.

Was just watching some Christmas rerun of this show last night and this thread is hilarious because the main thoughts I had while watching were: the dad seems gay and wow, do they obviously favor that Hazel! And dang, that mom is in awesome shape for having had quints!
