Ha ha. You're right! |
Neither JMU nor VT have law schools. |
Deloitte? |
No kidding. Lady upthread said:
And I said:
Does that clear it up for you? |
| ^^ Well said. And VA Tech (as in PolyTech, so duh, no law school) has many other advanced degree schools and FABULOUS FOOD. |
| Both are in Virginia, but very different regions. VA Tech is an Appalachian Ivy, but Appalachia is not for everyone. JMU is more traditionally southern. |
Have to agree with this. VT is nationally recognized for its food. |
An "Appalachian Ivy"? Haven't heard that one before. |
Pittsburgh Penn State Alabama, West Virginia Virginia Tech Clemson |
Some phrases are just out there waiting to be coined. Sadly, this is not one of them. Nothing good can come from it. |
+3 |
too funny |
Why would you hire VT or JMU grads without a law degree?
|
Well lawyers would have law degrees. That's how it works. First pp here mentioned "strong people" from JMU undergrad who went on to law school. Second pp here never ran into any JMU grads, "strong" or otherwise, whether they went on to law schools or not. Does that clear it up for you? |
Followed by a third poster who ran into many JMU grads but not as many VT grads in partner ranks in Consulting. |
