This might be corny, but...

When the witch has Dorothy locked in her castle and then turns over the big hourglass. Dorothy sees Auntie Em in the crystal ball and cries out, "I'm frightened, Auntie Em."

That scene has always made me tear up (since I was a little girl).

Just saw the movie "Under The Same Moon" on my kindle fire...it is many tears later, and too many touching scenes to count...

I thought seen was over-acted. I have to say I think she was sorely miscast as Beth. She would have made a better Jo and Winona Ryder looks more like a sickly waif and should have played beth. At the time wr was the bigger name--oh, how things change.
