As someone who gets triggered by Tulsi Gabbard of all people, you shouldn't throw around idiot label too much. |
We absolutely have taken a hard left, See Supreme Court case also. His budget cuts are due to mcps being in dire financial distress. Lol Taylor being right wing is laughable |

This is going to continue to happen, and continue to be fine in the end.
In BoE races, we consistently have at least three strong non-lunatic candidates, and then one absolute nut job. The vote for the non-lunatics gets split, the lunatic advances to the general, and then loses. It's annoying, but I'm not actually worried Diaz will win. It just means that people who care about the health and safety of our children will need to make sure the general public sees Diaz's own statements, and knows her history. Folks like this are their own worst enemies -- the more voters know, the less they like them. |
+1 exactly |
More magnets is good. Getting rid of the DCC and virtual school isn’t. |
As someone who served and who has been personally affected by the consequences of terrorism and political violence, I take these issues seriously. That is why I find it deeply troubling when political figures or candidates use imagery, rhetoric, or social media content that appears to make light of violence or treat serious threats as political props. School violence is not a joke. Threats against schools are not a joke. The fear that students, parents, teachers, and communities experience is not a joke. Clearly you think an assault rifle shootting up MCPS is ok?? Shame on you. If a candidate chooses to share content depicting violence against a school system or using violent imagery for political purposes, voters have every right to question that judgment. Public officials and candidates should be helping lower tensions and promote responsible discourse, not contributing to inflammatory rhetoric. My criticism has nothing to do with partisan labels. It is about responsibility, judgment, and the standards we should expect from people seeking positions of public trust. The same principle applies to public figures and political commentators generally. We should evaluate their statements, actions, and messaging critically and hold them accountable when they promote misinformation, divisive rhetoric, or irresponsible conduct. These issues are too serious to be dismissed as jokes, memes, or political theater. Diaz is not fit for any job concerning children her social media her words her posts her literal anti American violence is plenty of evidence to prove that fact. |
MCPS does not have money for more REAL magnets. It will be honors for all. |
Link to it, if this is real. |
Well lots of idiots got Rebecca Smondrowski voted on to the board and she loved her rifle! You saw her posing for her birthday shoot on Facebook. Jerry Weast loved his safari trophy kills. And everyone loved him! |
MCPS has the money for the things important to them. BCC and the W schools will be fine. The other schools lacking courses will be the ones impacted. |
Here’s Jerry! https://parentscoalitionmc.blogspot.com/2009/11/weast-watch-7-days-in-october-2008.html |
The people who lost their jobs due to budget cuts provided wrap-around services that support black and brown students, so yeah, Taylor is definitely making decisions that are right wing. |
Don't be absurd those are not the same as someone shooting up schools! |
We will have no magnets; instead we will have regional programs, accessible only if you can get to your home high school for a bus, that are of variable quality. |

Diaz wants to dumb down science, have girls only learning how to cook and stay home.
She wants girls education to end at 8th grade. Yep she promotes The Heritage Foundation curriculum that is what they promote.... Anyone with daughters she is not the candidate for you. |
