Because Zelensky's presidential power ended in the spring of 2024 and no one is taking him seriously anymore.

Meanwhile Putin has been in power for like a decade.

Shhhh maga loves Putin. Trump will soon get the same election results. I can see Fox News propagandists crying for joy as their dear leader gets 92% of the reported vote and all the other candidates are arrested.

Pay back the billions that went into Americans' pockets?

In reality, only a small percentage of the overall aid package takes the form of cash transfers to Kyiv; the vast majority goes right back into the U.S. economy through several federal government mechanisms.

One of the main mechanisms through which the U.S. provides security assistance to Ukraine is the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI)—a funding program led by the Department of Defense. Aimed at bolstering Ukraine’s armed forces, USAI provides funds for training and advising of Ukrainian military personnel, as well as for procurement of weapons. Nearly $32 billion has been allocated to USAI in three years of Russia’s all-out war.

The State Department’s Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program is a similar tool, yet its focus is not only on Ukraine but, rather, U.S. foreign policy goals more broadly. FMF helps American allies like Ukraine buy weapons specifically from U.S. manufacturers, supporting U.S. international interests and its military-industrial complex. FMF funding is not transferred to the recipient and is executed by American government agencies. Congress has allocated roughly $6.3 billion to this program for Ukraine security purposes since 2022.

And then there is the Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA), which allows the president to authorize the provision of weapons or services from Defense Department stockpiles to partners. This mechanism provides almost immediate help to allies in emergencies, with assistance sometimes arriving within days of presidential approval. Between August 2021 and April 2024, the State Department used PDA 44 times, providing Ukraine with military assistance worth $23.8 billion.

Same thing happens in Israel.

Stop talking about Israel. Start your own thread. This is about Ukraine.

No it is the same stuff.

Easy to do since Project 2025 calls for eliminating CYBERCOM's defense against foreign election interference. See post below, "Purposely opening the door for election cyberattacks"

Yes, after he was re-elected. Why is there an issue to run and re-elect Zelensky in Ukraine? By the way, US had to choose between two dictator to help in the WW2 - Stalin or Hitler. They chose to help Stalin to stop the war. Same thing is here. In choosing between two dictators, Putin and Zelensky, US chose to help Putin in order to stop the war.

How dumb can someone be? Putin won elections that were uncontested and rugged in this favor. There are many countries with dictators that have elections, and the dictator always wins by default.

Moreover, seriously? Comparing Hitler to Stalin? What a low IQ statement. Hitler was the aggressor and attacking all of Europe. The Soviets were simply defending themselves. The US did not help the Soviet union per say, but the Allies, which the USSR was a part of.

Putin was re-elected in sham elections. Like the kind we’re going to have in four years.
Zelensky is NOT a dictator. His country is busy fighting for its life in a war it didn’t start.

And Zelensky is NOT a dictator. Are we actually rewriting history here?

It's obvious why Ukraine can't have elections, and it has nothing to do with having safe polling places. If they had elections Zelensky loses bigly and a peace candidate would immediately negotiate a surrender. And his "sponsors" can't let that happen.

Does it surprise you that they would try to rewrite history? Putin lied to the Russian people about the reasons for war. Trump lies everyday. These people truly believe that if you tell a lie enough and spread it far enough it becomes the truth.

Word is NATO is done. The European members are drawing up plans to move on from the US. Look for a lot less coordination with European and base closures for US. This will reduce the US’s power in the World.

Trump better start planning where he will put those troop stationed over sea. The Korea, Japan, Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, etc are doing the same as the Europeans.

We are done as a world power. Brought to our knees by a third world country with a GPD equal to 7% of the US.

9% of Americans trust Putin and want to abandon our allies.

Hey MAGA want to talk about Benghazi, Afghanistan, etc? Didn’t think so.

I guess you're right technically in that they would rather just run away.

Only a few months ago shills we're still claiming we were hurting Russia on the cheap. Life comes at you fast.
