The whole Nazi thing turns a lot of people off. ITS NOT REAL. It’s manufactured.

They are NOT Nazis, and with you continually calling them "Nazis" and "Literally HITLER OMG" lessens the effects of these words - keep doing this and those words will mean NOTHING. NOTHING. This is incredibly offensive for those who survived the actual holocaust.

You know just as well as I do that this is not happening. No one is getting stuffed into gas chambers.

As a Jew (who voted for Trump), KNOCK IT OFF.

As a Jew - with Holocaust surviving family and who would NEVER VOTE FOR TRUMP - Nazi germany was about more than the Holocaust. He was a fascist who tried to violently overthrow his government, and when that failed, he rose to power through election and then dismantled Germany’s democracy. He took over adjacent territory. He took over the free press and imprisoned anyone who spoke out against him. He took over the military and all branches of the government to do his bidding. He was a fascist in addition to the genocide carried out under his rule.

Also, gas chambers didn’t evolve until almost a decade after Hitler came into power. It took a decade of “lebensraum” and “forced relocation” before the Nazis built death camps. For a Jew, you seem completely ignorant of Nazi germany beyond the Holocaust. But as a Trump voter that shouldn’t surprise me.

Nazi germany was simply the vehicle under which a genocide was able to happen, once Hitler controlled the government, military and press.

Thank you, this was a good post.

DP here. So I'll take a different approach and suggest that a dictator can be good or bad. The system of dictatorship is very dangerous because if latter, you're screwed. However, Singapore had a not so dangerous horrible dictator who cleaned it up. Your premise that Hitler was able to create a Nazi Germany is factually accurate. However Hitler had intent. I don't believe Trump sincerely has intent to make I don't know the US a white homogeneous society. I just don't. I do believe he has aligned himself with certain folks who do however. I also believe that he is less interested in whether they succeed over his own conceived successes. He will throw anyone under the bus he feels fit but he will also use them as he will. It's a power grab. But he isn't a Hitler with a desire to create a new state. Trump wants to be a "successful" President. He will say 10000 nonsense ridiculous dumbass things to help him drum up support to do what he thinks will get him there but it is all about his goal and his goal is pretty much simply vanity.

LOL. So the felon is a good dictator. Mmmkay.

Please educate yourself. That isn’t how it started.

Indeed. It started as a reaction to the degeneracy of the Weimar Republic. Hmmm...

What was degenerate? Women working? Divorce? Gay people? You are parroting the language of national socialism in your response (degenerate was a favorite phrase used by Nazis), thus illustrating exactly the point many here are making that this is straight from the fascist playbook.

Yeah. I suspect we have some FFX Underground neo-nazi trolls here.

There is a huge, huge gap between "Hitler" and "already far beyond the pale".

What remains true is that Trump is speed running Hitlers political moves to overthrow the government and consolidate power.

I would say it’s tiresome, but really, it’s mostly just funny to watch the same hysterics every few years.

LOL. You keep trying to push this sht.

We all know Trump is a much different beast. Including you. You just like lying about it.

At the current rate, three weeks.

Unless anyone in the GOP grows a spine, and I won't hold my breath on that.
