Not a football fan or a Swiftie, but this seems like a reasonable or even thoughtful response. More than I would have expected.
Exactly what I would have expected from him. Despite someone continuously calling him a drunken oaf or whatever, he presents himself as an incredibly nice guy and dedicated family man. He made a mistake. He owned it. It's exactly what I would have expected.
I wonder why no one is calling for the idiot who used the slur originally to apologize. I get he's not famous, but he's famously on video slinging a homophobic slur, yet I have yet to see one post calling for him to publicly apologize. This is why most people are glad Jason Kelce gave it to him in whatever format he chose.
