I think he is the greatest NFL coach ever and I agree with you. What a fcking stupid thing to do. He was always holding his players to a standard that he himself couldn’t uphold: don’t become a distraction. And that was a HUGE distraction as many players were very anti-Trump.

I also thought that before Tom Brady left the Patriots. After seeing what Brady did for the Buccaneers, and the Patriots’ lack of success post-Brady, I now believe that Belichick is basically an average NFL coach who had the greatest quarterback in NFL history fall into his lap.
