Trone couldn’t even get the Post endorsement |
Are you really that blind to reality, or just cynically trying to twist facts to manipulate people? |
David Troons is great. David Troon is legend. If you don’t like him, you are a 💩 person and we are better off as a human race without you. |
They’re falling in line behind the Democratic Party’s fealty to identity group politics. That’s how we ended up with Kamala Harris. |
He's a spoiled rich boy who already bought himself one political seat. I hope he isn’t able to buy himself another |
Trone is now airing an ad with a bunch of PG county politicians endorsing him. I don't know anything about politics there and how prominent these people are, but kind of curious why all these folks wouldn't be supporting Alsobrooks. Maybe Trone promised them something like a job in his Senate office if he wins, but are there really that many jobs to fill when you're a Senator? |
I can't wait to vote for Trone for Senator |
CAN ANYONE NAME ME A THING Angela Alsobrooks
DID TO HELP PG? Nothing = Rent prices are out of control. everything is out of control why should we elect her a US Senator ? |
Her main accomplishments are privatizing schools and enacting curfews when kids act up. That’s it. |
Or maybe because they know and work with Alsobrooks and are underwhelmed by her. |
Because he paid them. Duh. Trone is spending 50+ million dollars of his own money to win this seat. Do you think he’d even blink at handing some cash to people to agree to be on an ad for him? The question we should be asking is why is he spending so much of his own money to win a job that pays less than $200k? |
Right, people can't possibly have their own beliefs. Anybody who does anything, ever, it must only be because someone else paid them. |
I still don’t know who to vote for, but it’s much more likely that Trone max donated to their campaigns - something you can check for. Alsobrooks has an Avengers-level amount of Maryland Democrats endorsing her led by Van Hollen, Moore, Miller, Hoyer, Raskin, Ivey, Sarbanes and Lierman. |
Maybe because he already has money and wants to do something bigger? Maybe he has higher political aspirations? If he’s the better candidate then I don’t care why. |
Ultimately, Trone would cast the same votes as Alsobrooks in the Senate. They will both caucus with Democrats and support Biden’s SC nominees. I will definitely vote for either one over Hogan. One point in Trone’s favor is that he is independently wealthy and thus would require less money from the DNC and DSCC to run his campaign. That money could be put to good use in other senate races. |
