Yeah, but a year ago lol! Plus re talking about the vote…We don’t know if they’re talking about the election That’s also happening or the sale. It’s mostly all talking and little action so easy to get lost. |
I can't figure out what they're setting us up for. We've already done the Logan vs. kids win-lose back-and-forth a few times, so will something new happen in this same old dynamic?
And do I care if this time it's Roman who betrays them all, instead of one of the others? My money's on Logan dying from a heart attack, though. It's the last season, so we need to see the eponymous succession. |
Marsha ends up the successor. |
I love this show, but I don’t get how the three siblings have all this time to hang out together watching news, having witty banter or trashing each other/dad/Tom. And all the myriad of assistants just hover around in another room waiting to get someone on the phone or summon some transportation.
Doesn’t anyone ever get lunch with a friend or go to the gym or do a dad activity (Kendall). I know I’m being ridiculous because who would want to watch the show if these billionaires did regular people stuff. But all the sibling hang time is kind of wearing on me. Oh and how funny that the siblings all go out to a karaoke bar, and still end up hanging out in their own room doing the same trashing banter + Connor. Logan decides he wants to talk to them and voila - they all happen to be hanging out in a private room together. No normal elderly parent tracks his adult kids down so easily. |
The kids are all unemployed childless wo/man-children. Kendall’s ex has full custody of his kids. Trust fund layabouts. Presumably the oligarch dad can track them down because they’re idiots for one, and two, he directly and indirectly funds everything they do. And all their hanger-ons, junior staff, doormen, security, airport staff, pilots, drivers, paparazzi could leak everything to him and his team in real time. The old man has a portfolio of investigative tabloids. |
I love this show, but am hoping this is the final season. There's just not much more to say here. I hope there are more interesting plot lines coming than this incredibly boring financial back and forth they've yammered about for the first two episodes. |
GREG!!!! |
It is the final season, they’ve said so. We learn who the successor is. |
Would love Greg, but the writers might do Collin? |
If it’s like Fox News / News Corp, the old man never dies. Logan would live another 20 years. |
I noticed in the last episode that the news kept talking about the storms approaching the East Coast. On one level, it’s a metaphor for the stormy relationships that seem to be clashing, but if Logan and Roman are traveling to see Matsson, I wonder if it’s a literal reference, like someone being injured by severe turbulence. |
