My son's back to school list requests 6 Book Sox (jumbo sized).
I priced them at Office Depot or maybe it was Staples. They were $5 each! I don't want to pay that much for book covers when kids should be able to cover them for free using brown grocery bags as I used to do. But I thought i'd check around. Does anyone know a cheap source of these types of book covers? |

Value Village usually has them. |
I think they are on sale for $1 at Target this week. Also, we compared Target to Staples (pricewise) this week..and won't be going back to Staples soon. |
Make your kid use the grocery bags. Start a cool retro trend! |
Got ours at AC Moore for close to $1 a piece

CVS usually has them on sale at some point in august. |
There is a noticable difference between the jumbo and reguler size so be aware. I bought regular ones at AC Moore and CVS and they didn't fit my kids' textbooks so ultimately they were a waste. My kids bring them home at the end of the year, I wash them and they get reused. |
Have them at Target for $1 each. |
The big office supply stores are generally super expensive for school supplies. They may put a few items at a great sale price, but Target is much better. If you can get to a Walmart you'll save a lot of money. |
OP here -- found them in jumbo size at Target today for $1 each -- but just checked my receipt and they only charged me $0.65 for some reason. Sweet! |
