Things tasting like dog food???

Anonymous
Seriously, why do people compare everything to dog food? I have read 2 or 3 postings comparing everything from grassfed beef to canned salmon tasting like dog. Has anyone actually tasted dog food. I feel like I'm reading a Robert Parker wine review when he says a wine finishes with the taste of asphalt or shoe leather. Can people elaborate more than just saying it tastes like dog food.

OP here. I apologize. The thing about canned salmon the poster said they'd rather eat dog food. My mistake.

Your cooking does. Because you put extra sh!tty in it.

And yeah, I have tasted dog food before.

You do cook a little better than that.

That was me. I feed the dogs every morning, it smells better than canned salmon tastes. LOL. I love food - including beef, canned salmon - not so much.

I think grape nuts taste like dried dog food (see? "dried" dog food! I elaborated). They are so gross.

Because canned salmon is pretty close to dog or cat food. Especially cat food. The food that I feed my cat is probably a higher grade.
