what is it you don't like about the house?

no, crappy kitchen-it is closed off from the rest of the hosue-looks like it was recently flipped and they used low end prducts to complete the job

This house was on the market when we looked a year ago. We bought a few blocks away and had our offer accepted just before we were due to go look at this one. Perhaps it didn't eventually go on the market then.

Anyway, we like the area and the house looks solid. Hard to say without visiting, but I think you could get it for a bit less.

It looks really generic.

I don't like the laundryroom in the basement. I prefer to have a small laundryroom off the kitchen on a main floor. I would love to find a house with a small laundry room on the second level where the bedrooms are located but I've never seen this. The rooms look very small and the furniture is small which means the rooms may be smaller than they appear in the photographs. This is fine for some rooms but you have to be careful about too many mini-rooms. The screen porch looks strange very narrow and long. It doesn't seem usable. The grill is in a strange area and the patio looks more like a walk way. We like to grill and eat outside. You don't need tons of space but this doesn't seem very comfortable. The flat yard area seems to be on the side of the house and not very kid friendly. I don't think I would want to build a playset on the side of my house. I would prefer a backyard for this. Since it is in DC, not fenced and doesn't seem to have good sight lines from inside for the kids to play in the yard you would need to be with them all the time.

I've seen much worse houses in that area for that price-point...looks like a pretty good deal. anyhow, sale pending according to redfin, so someone has it under contract.

It's under contract. The inside of the house is nice, but the addition on the left side of the house is far uglier than the Homevisit photos indicate. The house is also right next to an alley that looks like rat heaven.

Interesting. I was going to say that I love the master suite, but hate the look of the addition, even in the picture.
