Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
Need to set up a meeting and get some work done. Any suggestions for somewhere not too expensive and where we are likely to be able to get a table (for 4)?
RFD, Nando's, Vapiano
cosi, hill country bbq, merzi
go to restaurant.com and see if there are any restaurants nearby and buy a discounted certificate
If it is a work meeting then I would make a reservation somewhere. I would use opentable.com and see what is available in Penn Quarter at the date/time that you want. Gorden Biersch (brewery) and La Tasca (tapas) are reasonably priced and probably not too loud at lunch time.

Define "inexpensive" - they mean different things
Legal, La Tasca, Clydes, busboys, Mandu, Ps7, ping pong, Asian Spice are all about 3 blocks from 7/H. |
Teaism. They have a nice range of options and plenty of space downstairs (they are around 7th and D I think).
Is Burma still on 6th Street? It was never too crowded when I worked down there and it's something new for most people. Between G and H.
Burma is the best restaurant in the Chinatown area. I've never had a bad meal there. |
7th and H NE or NW???

i work on 7th street. clyde's gallery place should fit the bill. it's quiet on the upper level, not expensive, and pretty much anyone can find something on the menu. it's a very "safe" choice.
