We're redoing our kitchen and want to put in hardwood. Any suggestions on the best place to look (preferably in VA)? Home Depot seems to have a decent selection but it would be nice to have a few other alternatives. Thx
We just bought from Lumber Liquidators in College Park. They had a great selection and better prices for product and installation, than HD or other flooring places.
Hardwood flooring is actually something that works well to buy used. The flooring is installed, and then it can be sanded and finished. This can be a way to get a good price on it, through stores such as the Habitat ReStore. (I'll note, this also supports a good cause and is "green.")
