Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
| I have a girlfriend coming down tonight to visit and am looking for somewhere in DC to take her to dinner that will be fun. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks! |
| Old Ebbitt. |

Circa in Dupont
Ardeo in Cleveland Park Mie N Yu in Georgetown |
| Zaytinya. |
|
you don't say where in DC but that would help narrow it down. I would go to chinatown/penn quarter, or more downtown, or cleveland park, or adams morgan, or the hill, probably in that order.
use this guide and sort on "editors picks" for some good recommendations, as well as yelp.com washingtonpost.com/gog I might go to Ceiba, BLT Steak, Zaytina, Central, Bar Pilar, or Palena, or Komi or Bistro du Coin, etc.... |
| I second Ardeo- but the Bardeo side is really fun and relaxed, too. I love Bodega on M street in Georgetown. |

logan circle and U street is a fun area.
bar pilar or saint ex churckkey/birch+barley estadio policy tabaq |
Yes... good suggestions. Mandu at the bottom of Adams Morgan /edge of Dupont is good too. Great cocktails. Old Ebbitt as a PP suggested: NO... unless you want to be surrounded by tourists |
| Just got back from dinner out with two girlfriends at Proof - YUM! |
