Where to take single friend to dinner tonight in DC

you don't say where in DC but that would help narrow it down. I would go to chinatown/penn quarter, or more downtown, or cleveland park, or adams morgan, or the hill, probably in that order.

I might go to Ceiba, BLT Steak, Zaytina, Central, Bar Pilar, or Palena, or Komi or Bistro du Coin, etc....

I second Ardeo- but the Bardeo side is really fun and relaxed, too. I love Bodega on M street in Georgetown.

Yes... good suggestions. Mandu at the bottom of Adams Morgan /edge of Dupont is good too. Great cocktails.
