Some of the teachers fired had IMPACT scores that were negatively affected by artificially inflated test scores in prior years.

This is the type of thing that is forcing our hand at staying out of DCPS. They know the system is broken, and yet they keep breaking it further.

could be even worse than that -- they deny any mistakes, so continue making more

The cheating taints all of the IVA scores from last year. All Group 1 teachers should be reclassified as Group 2 teachers for that Evaluation Period. Many of us would then qualify for the highly effective bonuses. Sounds like the making of a lawsuit.

THey don't want to admit cheating and they don't want to give more bonuses, but they probably wouldn't mind a lawsuit. That requires an exciting fight
