Did you realize that over the past few years, FCPS has gotten rid of core honors classes at most high schools, leaving students with only 2 options - AP (college-level) or general education courses in the core subjects?

I'd like to encourage you to read up on it at http://www.fairfaxeducationcoalition.org/ or http://www.fairgrade.net/ and then think about signing the petition: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/restorehonorscourses/ This should not be costly to re-implement. These courses were offered recently and by current teachers.

Even if you have young children, they will eventually attend high school so please go ahead and sign if you agree. It takes just seconds.
