Containing the Girls

Anonymous
In my DH's viewpoint, a happy side-effect of the pregnancy has been my obtainment of a gigantic set of girls. I have to admit some fascination. One thing not so great, however, is trying to maintain some level of fitness while keeping these things secure. Although I've looked at some of the usual websites, I haven't found any sports bras that are either big enough or offers enough support. If you have any leads on some good sports bras, much appreciation is headed your way. And by big, we're talking 32 DDDD big. I never knew that size even existed.

whoa - I never got nearly that big - but I just wore two sport bras when jogging.

I got some at a website www.titlenine.com which I was pretty happy with - did you check it out already?

I'm currently at a 38DDD (or E apparently!) and I bought an XL sports bra at city sports that mostly does the trick. It's their own brand and isn't as supportive as my others (mostly from title nine) but it holds everything in. I wouldn't run in it, but it's fine for walking, weights and yoga.

I use 2 sports bras - simultaneously. One is a cheaper($18), stretchier and slightly larger one from Target and underneath I wear an expensive($50) one I bought at Dick's. It is hardly perfect, but I don't feel like I am in danger of getting a black eye from the girls.

How did that smiley face get in there? I type "18"

I also got huge, 38 E!! (horrifying, IMO) and i used a bra by moving comfort, they carry the line at a lot of stores, city sports, fleet feet, etc. It is sometimes hard to find the bigger sizes, you may want to go online.

Did you al go back to your normal size? I haven't and I HATE it- I hate being so booby- i have some extra weight but not that much..

Nope, unfortunately I got a little smaller when I stopped nursing, but am still bigger than when I started. I have resigned myself to the fact that a breast reduction will be in my future.

Okay, I only got to a DD, but the best sports bra I found was the Armor Hammer with bra-like hooks in the back - they have them at City Sports. For some reason, that really suck them in.

I get quite big during pregnancy (this is my second), but i found that i was even bigger early on during breastfeeding, though they finally went down a little. But I found the best bra out there (and I tried a bunch) was the Enell bra. I ordered them online and definitely recommend them to anyone who is above the C range. I could do any and all exercise, and what a relief to being to get the post baby body back!!

Champion style 1691 comes in 38DDD. I started out as a
32 DDD so I can relate. I got them on line, they work well. There are also bra extenders, but I haven't tried those. I'm glad to be finally showing as there was a rumor going around the office that I'd had breast enlargement surgery! What are people thinking??

OP here- thanks for the leads. Something out there is bound to work. To pp- that's too funny! I had the same problem. The girls started to show long before the belly. In fact, I am still secretly jealous of those women with the nice pregnancy figure of large belly and not too large on top. I'm completely lopsided. I started out 32B, so this has been quite a journey. I now know what a playboy bunny must feel like, well, except for the fact that I have at least 30 pounds on those girls and they definitely don't experience the joys of pregnancy-induced bloating by the end of the day. Thanks again!
