First time mom in December 2011-need ideas for a small in-home daycare in Alexandria VA

My husband and I are expecting our first child on Dec. 25 2011. We are first time parents and both work full-time. I work for the City of Alexandria and would prefer my child be close to my work. Anyone know of a small daycare run out of someones home? Or other ideas/suggestions for care? I get 12 wks and don't want a big daycare for my 3 month old.

I'm in the same boat so, instead of another thread, figured I'd piggyback here. We are due in November, so looking for availability in the February timeframe and are also first time parents. Any help is appreciated.
