| and I need to make a dinner for my sons aged: 1, 3, and 4. I am out of ideas. Anyone have any for me? I am having one of those particularly burnt out days when I want to hide under a rock. |

Rice with Ground Beef
1.5 cups of rice 3 onions 1 lb. ground beef 5 cloves of garlic, mashed 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tbsp. tomato paste Approx. 2 cups of boiling water Pepper, paprika, cumin, oregano, thyme, nutmeg and other spices to taste Chop onions finely and sautee with a bit of oil and soy sauce, in a wide pan or shallow pot with a lid. Add rice, meat and spices and stir for a couple of minutes until thoroughly mixed and the beef is browned. Mix tomato paste with boiling water and pour over rice. Mix well. Cover and cook until rice is soft, stirring occasionally. This is very easy and delicious, and can also be used as filling for stuffed vegetables (peppers, tomatoes, cabbage leaves) although we like it on its own. |

Not sure what else you have but here is what I do for an easy 20 min. meal with ground beef:
-tacos (use seasoning packet) need tortillas or you could make a cheesy taco dish without them -spaghetti with meat sauce (saute some veggies to add in) -hamburger helper (if you dont have make kraft mac and cheese and add it in) -mini burgers |

I ditto some of the earlier ideas and would add:
1. chili 2. mini-meatballs 3. meat loaf 4. taco salads |

Sloppy joes?
Brown the beef Saute chopped green pepper, carrots, celery, garlic (or whatever out of that group your kids will eat). Add one can tomato paste, some ketchup and/or BBQ sauce, chili powder and enough water to make everything the right consistency. |

Got this recipe from the Post and we all (the kids too) loved it! Obviously, not good for those allergic to peanuts.

shit on a shingle, sounds gross, but yummy!
Brown ground beef, drain, add 1/4 c flour and lightly brown, then add about two cups of milk, and bring to simmer, stir constantly and add more milk till slightly thick, simmer 1 minute. Season with garlic salt, pepper, salt and onion powder. Serve over rice, potatoes or shingles (toast) |
| shell pasta, ground beef, ketchup, garlic salt....mix it all together. Family recipe. Souns weird, but tastes very good. |
