LONDON (AP) — Police say Sean Hoare, the whistleblower reporter who alleged widespread hacking at the News of the World, has been found dead.

Police said Hoare's death at his home in England was not considered to be suspicious, according to Britain's Press Association news agency.

So it's purely coincidental that the guy ends up dead shortly after blowing the whistle?

I notice we don't see a bunch of people celebrating Fox News these days.

From

http://www.mediaowners.com/company/newscorporation.html

Chairman Rupert Murdoch has spent over 50 years with the company, and the Murdoch family is a major shareholder, controlling about 30% of the corporation. Murdoch has lived in the United States since the 1970s, and he gave up his Australian citizenship in 1985 to become a U.S. citizen. He did so to satisfy the legal requirement that only United States citizens could own American television stations.

Is he really a US citizen? Has anyone seen his naturalization papers? Do we know if they're real?

That only happens to black people.

I bet Scotland Yard said there was nothing suspicious about his death. Wow. They need to get James Bond on the case, I guess.

Or Sherlock Holmes.

Hercule Poirot would have it solved in a fortnight.

Any suspicion appears to be leaning towards suicide. Sorry conspiracy theorists

I don't know, PP.

If "they" were out to get me, I'd probably off myself, too.

U know these "private eyes" used to hack the phones are all ex intelligence officers. They switch over to corporate spying, but maintain their contacts and in some cases employ current us intelligence employees. (Yes it is legal)

Well no suicide note though. If you were to kill a person with a drug problem, how would you do it?

Didn't the NYTimes reporter who had dinner with this person a few days earlier comment on his ill health?

perhaps not the most reputable source but
"Finally, Mr Hoare was not in good health. He was reported to be looking yellow and his doctor had remarked that he should have been dead."
