MSA scores -- are percentile rankings available?

Anonymous
The scores as they are reported aren't very meaningful to parents. Does anyone know if percentile rankings are available and where to find them?
Anonymous
No.

No they aren't available or no you don't know where to find them? Do you mind if I ask how you are sure they don't exist?

They may be on the site above.

I have the same frustration. The scores as reported mean nothing, but I have been unable to find any percentile data.

I work in a MCPS middle school and just had a parent request this information. To my knowledge, it does not exist. What does exist is the ranges of scores that fall into Advanced, Proficient, and Basic.

and what exactly does Advanced do or the other labels, it only helps the school right, or does it benefit my child as well...other than I could feasibly walk around and mention in conversation how advanced my child is what's the real deal with the score?

I am the parent of a child entering 2nd grade in MCPS. What do you mean when you say the scores, as they are reported, aren't meaningful / mean nothing to parents? What does an example score/report look like?
Anonymous
Not really.
