Cost to get a new interior door installed?

We have two hollow-core doors in our house. How much does it cost about to get those replaced with solid wood doors? I know where to get nice doors (used), but how much does installation run, approximately? Thanks!

Why don't you do it yourself? Unless the doors need to be cut down, installing doors is easy. You'd need a drill and a screwdriver. Hold the door up, mark where the screws need to go, drill a hole, insert screws.

Installing doors is not easy. I think we paid $250 per door to have our solid wood interior doors installed. Just installation. Door costs extra.

We had all of our doors (8) replaced by a handy man. The cost of labor was about $600 for 1 1/2 days work.

$250 per door????? That is INSANE. Hire a handyman and pay him his hourly rate.
