| Brennan at SJC makes perfect sense. OC will take years to build and she has the talent at SJC and a strong 28 class coming in. |
That would be a great selection. SJC parent here. |
| Agree. She coached Pride Red 28 to be a top ten team and she has several of those girls coming to SJC and they know her and like her. She is a winner and will work the kids hard but that’s what the SJC program wants. |
|
What was her record at OC?
How you coach regular kids is a better predictor of success than coaching a stocked one. Someone who gets more out of their kids impresses me more than a front runner who can only win with better players. SW, that’s what she does - gets more out of everyone. |
Made DJO a lot more competitive, without a ton of talent. |
| Brennan leaving OC for sure. AD does not support Lacrosse and she cannot recruit without having financial incentives. Yorktown is too big of a draw for girls that want to be on a winning program and will save their parents $80,000. |
| DJO lacrosse a complete mess. They got rid of Coach Finn right when he established a program and was bringing in a decent freshman class (girls went elsewhere). Coach Brennan does not have support by DJO to recruit and the flagship sports are basketball and softball. Coach Brennan leaving one way or the other. |
| OC? |
| O Connell |
Her first year they won 8 or 9 games and last year they went 11-7. OC was around 2-12 before that. |
| Record is kind of funny…choosing to schedule easier teams out of conference, etc…. In conference they have not caught up to the top 4 at all. They fight with Rykens and HC for 5-7. |
Complete nonsense. This is not true. |
That was a great fake news post though. |
| Rumor has it that Brennan is leaving DJO so makes sense SJC is hiring her |
Probably would have already left if she was going to. My guess is she's not going to let down the girls on her team. |
