To look at homes?
No contracts have been signed and I want to see them both 'in action' at a showing before we go with one or the other. Is this wrong? |
| And do I need to tell them about one another? (I wasn't planning on it until I have to tell one, sorry, we've decided against using you.) |
| No, it is not unethical. Just as long as you don't see the same homes. If you happen to want to make an offer you saw with one, you need to make the offer through the one you saw it with. |
| To be your buyers agent? Seems to me anyone can help you tour a home. You could even go alone. Where they earn their money is helping you negotiate the deal. They step in when you get a crappy appraisal or the banks renege. If you are interviewing, why not ask then questions about particularly difficult deals they have had in this (bad) market and how they handled the situations. |

One more thing, you aren't paying their commission - the seller is. FYI

THIS. But also be aware that if one is sending emails of listings then in theory they could argue that they are due comission... in any caseI would jsut quickly decide between the two and then let the other know in writing that you are working with someone else, tell them in person and then send an email so that you have a written record. |
