Where is the cheapest place to buy pine nuts around here?

Go Whole Foods - you can buy them in bulk - and they are Spanish pine nuts, not Chinese. Chinese pine nuts can sometimes give a bad metallic aftertaste that lasts for days.

no, no no! do NOT search for cheap pine nuts (from China). This is the time to suck it up and pay for the good stuff.

Costco. I just Googled and apparently they may be from China--but they're packaged in the US. I have bought them for a while and had no issues.
