Food Trucks!!

What are your favorite food trucks? What is your favorite thing to order from the truck? looking for new lunch ideas, even though I know it is neighborhood dependent....

I just tried Bada Bing the other day and it was great. Chicken spi-dee (spelling?) sandwich: grilled marinated chicken on a roll, simple and delicious, but HUGE!

I only tried two: lobster and the indian food truck. Liked both, just don't use often for lunch, cause it's often a hike from my office.

I like El Floridano (and Weds they are usually in Metro Center, although I probably will skip in this heat). They have a good chicken sandwich with avocado and salsa and a turkey meatloaf banh mi.

The mac and cheese and grilled cheese trucks are pretty good if that's what you are looking for.

I like using the trucks, but sometimes the wait is too long.

Foodtruckfiesta is a great website/iphone for news on foodtrucks, and specifically where they are.

I like:
Porcmobile (pulled pork or sloppy joe sandwich)
Sauca (butter chicken)
Sabora (arepas and the fried yucca with the aoili is to die for)

Unfortunately where I work (dupont circle) there aren't any food trucks. But I did try the Fojol Brothers truck at a festival in silver spring and I was really disappointed. I got the indian food, not ethiopian. Maybe their ethiopian is better, but the butter chicken and veggies i got were really really salty and just not that great.

The lobster food truck is awesome, but expensive. Cupcake truck (the pink ones) are pretty good. The mac n cheese one is very good, and super filling.

Lobster truck - shrimp roll is much better value than lobster, IMO
Sabora - love their fish tacos and delicious corn salad
TaKorean - love their tofu tacos
Empanada truck - I have liked all the veggie empanadas I have tried, haven't had them all so far. Oh, and the dulce de leche sandwich cookie is great (didn't like the others as much).
Mac and cheese truck - their classic mac was delicious, but more of a winter dish to me
