iced coffee/tea with k-cups

Anonymous
Is this all a big hoax? Do these things really work? My DH is obsessed with the tea, and I'd LIKE to be obsessed with the coffee as I really love iced coffee, but every time we make them, we have to stick it in the freezer for a few minutes afterwards to get it cooled down. It just doesn't seem to work out very well for me, and the coffee melts the ice and it gets too watery. Am I doing something wrong or are these just like normal k-cups branded to attract suckers like us?

I think they have extra coffee in them so they don't get watered down. It also says something about 'special formulation' that helps with bitterness. Not sure what that means.

We have a sample pack of the Vanilla ones at work and people have been raving about them. I tried one but learned something about myself - I dislike flavored ice coffee as much as flavored hot coffee.

I make iced coffee and tea with the regular K cups at work. I make the tea or coffee into a double-sized coffee cup, add ice until the cup is full, sweeten, and I'm done. Maybe you just need to experiment with the ratio of coffee to ice?
