Sorry for tmi. 2 plus weeks of diarrhea after every meal for no apparent reason. What should I eliminate first and how long do I wait for results? I sure hope it's not lactose b/c I can't eat fish and only eat poultry for meat and get most of my protein from dairy (milk, yogurt, cheese). BTW I am almost 50 and have heard food intolerances can develop in perimenopause. TIA
Try dairy first because you will see results quicker. If it's gluten it could take six weeks before you see a change.

I would try lactose first. It is more common. |
Get to a doctor. Two weeks of constant diarrhea indicates illness. It is highly improbable that you suddenly became severely allergic to either. You could have an infection.
Yes, I had several weeks of diarrhea and it turned out to be a parasite.
OP have you been to the doctor yet?
