how to know if I ovulated or not?

Both temping and OPKs just are not working for me. Is it possible that I am not ovulating at all? I tend to think it's user error but who knows. Can my RE confirm (after I would have ovulated) if I actually did or not?

how many cycle have you charted for? I found my first 2 were confusing, but after that I understood my pattern....yes ovulation can be confirmed on an ultrasound...go talk to you doctor.

why aren't OPKs and temping working for you specifically?
I think an RE can absolutely confirm - might be a combo of ultrasound and blood work - my RE has told me he can't tell around ovulation if you have in fact ovulated yet - that once you ovulate the follicle fills back up with fluid looking like you haven't ovulated yet (when you might have)- I think a few days later it's more obvious - blood work/hormone eval can't definitely confirm it though

I believe if you are not ovulating, you will generally not get a bleed. (I know I don't). I am not sure if your question is actually whether or not you have ovulated yet in your usually regular cycle. If it is the second, blood work can tell you in a few days.

I tried OPK and the Clear Blue monitor for a while and the results were just crazy random. I also started having irregular periods. If this is the case, your RE can give you medication that will bring on a bleed and then you can use Ovidrel to make sure you actually ovulate each month, thereby bringing on another bleed.
