There is Jewish religion, but there is also Jewish ethnicity. There are people who practice Judaism who are not ethnically Jewish, and there are people who are ethnically Jewish but who are secular or who practice religions other than Judaism. That said, you missed the mark on what was idiotic. The idiotic part is about Ivanka "looking Jewish" because she is not ethnically Jewish. She is ethnically Czech (via her mother), German (via Donald's father) and Scottish (via Donald's mother). |

You’re conflating nationality with ethnicity. Robert Maxwell was a Jew born in Czechoslovakia. Ivanka absolutely looked like an ethnically Jewish gal in her teens. Ivana Trump’s background is murky. Who introduced Trump to Ivana? |
