What's her stance on the rapist? I don't even need to know because "life is life" and the preacher's and brothers and fathers of these little girls are "good people" too. I bet she also believes the rapist has parental rights too. Not that they should have to pay child support and lose their rights and have a no contact order with their victim and offspring nope nope nope

Rapists have parental rights in more states than you'd think

So, how is the rapist father going to provide for his child if he's in prison for raping a minor? Is the state going to help the mother financially? And for the counselling that the mother, and probably her child, will require?

And there are no laws to cover custody until the child's born - because most states regardless of how they want to define abortion, don't define personhood until after birth.
The pro-life states have particularly sticky legal contradictions on their hands now.

The correct answer is that he never will. The father will be 75 and still owe hundreds of thousands in child support.

My uncle is a super deadbeat dad. He has 7 kids with 4 different women and spent something like 48 of his 75 years alive either in prison or jail. He owes close to a half million in child support he's never paid and never will pay. His kids range in age from 58-45.

He’s not going to, and neither is the state. Counseling- ha. Mom is on 100% on her own. If she’s lucky maybe she’ll get some WIC. If she’s really lucky maybe she’ll get off the Section 8 voucher list in 5-10 years. And that’s exactly how the forced birthers like it, because if she’s sufficiently desperate maybe she’ll give her child up to one of those religious-based baby trafficking outfits.

Abortion won't stop. It will just be the rich that get it.

Guess Mississippi will limit abortions to 15 weeks pregnant and under.

That’s 96% of abortions anyhow and still a carve out for health if the women.

Who’s out there hemming and hawing about getting an abortion for 15, 20, 25 weeks? Waiting for a payout or an engagement? Sounds like drama.

Presenting Indiana’s bill to ban all abortion at any stage, except for cases of rape and incest (how will that work exactly since there can’t possibly be a guilty verdict before the fetus is viable) and the life of the mother.

I think either every woman who gets pregnant gets a guaranteed income provided by the MAN who impregnated her directly deposited into her account from his employer (or collected monthly by the state and given to her) until the child is 18 (at a cost determined by economy of what it costs to raise a child for 1 year of life) OR a lump sum pay out of $250,000 that she can use to care for that child over the 18 years.
if hte man can't afford either, then he is automatically given a vasectomy and can not reproduce until his debts are paid in full.
The woman is gets free health insurance while pregnant at his cost adn his child will have health insurance until the age of 18 for which he must either pay 1/2 the cost of directly to the insurance company (ideally single payer healthcare).

Just ignore the fact that the man might have impregnated her believing her when she assured him that she couldn't get pregnant.

If he even faces any jail time, he will be awarded visitation, pay little to nothing in financial support, while we call the child a welfare queen because she can't get ahead in life and stuck on welfare to support them.

A woman can't get pregnant without a man's consent.

Even if you think abortion isn’t in the Constitution, surely freedom of speech still is?

So I guess rape claims are going up up up.

What difference does it make? It’s not like they investigate rape or follow up on rape kits or even take women seriously at all.

The fascists don’t believe in free speech.

As a woman who did not report a rape, you can be sure that I would going forward. If I need to file a police report to receive medical treatment, then a date rape would absolutely be reason for filing a report. Good luck to all the frat boys out there.
