Food, Cooking, and Restaurants
What are your family's favorite go to restaurants in Mclean (or close by)? We have two small children and we are moving to the area. We would especially love recs on Mexican restaurants since this is our children's favorite type of food
Thanks! |
| For Mexican, I would go to Rio Grande in Ballston or On the Border in Tysons. |
| All of these are right in McLean: MFR (McLean Family Restaurant) is a diner, great for breakfast/lunch, Wok and Roll , Ichiban ( sushi), McLean Pizza, Chesapeake Bagels, Greenberry's ( coffee shop), J. Gilberts ( more expensive steaks and fish), Evo Bistro (tapas), Pasa Thai |

Thanks - would love to hear some more. We will be living very close (walking distance) of downtown McLean.

| Pulcinella and Red Tomato all in downtown McLean |

Yes, Pulcinella for Italian and pizza. A lot of people love Rocco's though.
Tachibana for sushi, some do prefer Ichiban. Lost Dog Cafe for huge menu and bigger beer list (on Anderson Rd.) We like going to Silver Diner in Tysons or McLean Family restaurant for breakfast. I get my coffee at Star*Nut or Fluffy Thoughts, sometimes Nourish Market. I do like Evo Bistro a lot but I wouldn't take the kids with me. |
