Camps in August? Silver Spring, Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Takoma Park...

| Help! I have a child who is just turning 13 (this week), and I need to find a summer camp for her for the month of August. I work every day and am a single parent, so I need her to be in camp during the day. There are so few camps that run through August! And few options for a child her age. The only option I've found is the Silver Spring YMCA. (yes, I checked Montgomery County Parks & Rec, and their camps end on August 5). Money is an issue, so I can't do a camp that's super expensive. Any suggestions? |

| BCC Y in Bethesda usually runs camps through August. |

| My kids are doing ice skating through MCPS parks the last week before school starts. It even has extended day options. |

i9 Sports has camps that run through August and offer various sports indoors at Champions Fieldhouse in Rockville.
