So... true or false... is it really the Fountain of Youth?

yes it is. But it must be fresh- invest in a heavy duty juicer and some growing equipment. It's a great hobby and worth every effort.

So... I guess the stuff you get at Whole Foods doesn't work?

Whilst it's preferable to have fresh, not everybody can manage that. It takes skill and consistency to grow mould free grass. It then takes time to turn that into juice, and clear up after you've done it. Whilst it's cheaper, there are other options, such as well preserved juice which can be stored without refrigeration and is easy to ship in the post, landing in your mailbox when you want it. It may not be the same as fresh pressed, but it's better than nothing at all and for many it's the ideal option, including those who travel a lot. You can find it at www.tonicattack.com

I don't know... I'm sticking with the Whole Foods variety. There is something about ordering things like this on line that makes me nervous...

Any juice in a package of any kind must be pasteurized - which means heated - which means it is no longer living food - which is the entire benefit of Wheat Grass Juice - and any other juice, for that matter. Any "juice" that has been pasteurized or heated is just water, carbohydrates and vitamins. There is no "life" or living food remaining. The point of wheat grass juice is it's a living thing. It's not that difficult to grow and juice. It's a worthwhile hobby for an enthusiast, requiring effort equal to anything else that is worth doing well.
